My Story
Hello all, and thank you for joining me on Fusion Healing!
I thought I would take a moment and introduce to you who I am and what I’m doing!
I was born and raised in Southern Alberta. I was told I was born with horses in my blood.
Family and friends reassured my parents that this is
“just a phase…”,
“Don’t worry she’ll outgrow it…”,
“She will get bored and find something else…”
I never did. It only expanded to include cattle and other animals. Horses, cattle, dogs, and cats, in general, have been the backbone of who I am from a very early age. When I was old enough, I joined 4-H and when I no longer could be a member, I continued as a leader and riding instructor (Level 1-7 certified coach) and teaching clinics. I've spent my whole life dedicated to animals which led several years ago to me starting the journey of getting the education needed to build my skills and business.
What started as a few courses for the betterment of my animal’s quality of life, mixed into my busy life of raising my family, raising & training horses, and raising & stockmanship of cattle, turned into achieving diplomas in the equine and veterinary industry. Some notable achievements are 2008- 2010 I received my Equine Level I and Level II Massage certifications and in 2012 I travelled to Saskatchewan and received my certification as an EAL -Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator thus, Compass Horsemanship was born. In 2013 I received my diploma in Entrepreneurial Business Applications - Honors. In 2015 I received my diploma in Medical Assistant with Veterinary Specialty – graduated with Honors distinction and Valedictorian.
Upon graduating I received my Certified Medical Assisting Professional designation.
Recently, I have completed 16 hours of private mentorship of bodywork techniques from the Building Bonds Clinic, and the Building Bonds online course from Julie Parsonage of Horses in Harmony. I have also received my Reiki Masters Third Degree and I’ve joined BEMER Group Canada as a distributor.
Over the course of my life, I have been sought out to help people and their animals. Even some wild animals have come to me for help. And this is where my true passion lies - in helping others. All this led to the intrinsic formation of my company, Fusion healing - Enhancing health, wellness, and balance.
I am offering a unique and powerful combination of treatments that blend bodywork techniques, BEMER (PEMF) treatment, essential oil blends, and Reiki. I have many techniques for helping you and/or your horse, dog, cat, or small animal heal, rehabilitate, or simply relax. Treatments are customizable and are specifically designed to meet the multidimensional needs of mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to bring balance, wellness, and healing to help you and/or your horse, dog, cat, and small animal attain optimum function and a great quality of life.
